Our Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement team is seeking a motivated individual to undertake the role of Senior Community Engagement Officer. This role offers a unique opportunity to utilise your community engagement expertise on an exciting range of projects across the organisation. Reporting to the Coordinator of Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement, key responsibilities include:

  • cultivating genuine community engagement in decision making through a range of communications channels, including
    online engagement
  • building staff capacity to design, deliver and evaluate community engagement activities
  • negotiating outcomes across teams, managing projects and analysing consultation and engagement findings.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in delivering community and stakeholder engagement projects which demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the principles of public participation. Experience in delivering online engagement platforms and digital engagement methods is essential.

You will hold a relevant tertiary qualification in communications and public relations, or related field. You will hold a current Victorian Driver’s License and be required to undertake a Police Check.
